The fourth and final contestant for the Stand Up & Be Funny comedy talent competition, searching for Ireland's next great stand-up comedian, has been announced.
The final funny four are Jasmin Gleeson, Michael Rice, Sinead Quinlan and Justine Stafford.
Presenter Ray D’Arcy launched the search across his television and radio shows in mid-October.
Hundreds of people applied and eighteen took to the stage in three regional heats. Jasmin, Michael and Sinead were crowned at regional heats in Cork, Galway and Bray.
There was one spot left in the final for a wildcard who was chosen by the public through an online vote on RTÉ.ie.
After over 10,000 online votes, Justine Stafford was announced as the final contestant on The Ray D’Arcy show on RTÉ Radio 1 on Thursday.
The final will be live on the Ray D’Arcy television show on RTÉ One at 9.55pm this Saturday, December 7.
The four finalists will be invited to perform a short segment and the judging panel, made up of Barry Murphy, Emma Doran and Darren Smith, will make the final call on who they deem to be the funniest.
The winner will scoop €1,000 in cash and have the opportunity to develop a comedy pilot with RTÉ Online for RTÉ Player.
