The Bord Gáis Energy Theatre has announced their line-up for the New Year as the Dublin venue prepares to celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2020.
Starting in January with Rogers and Hammerstein's much-loved The Sound of Music, the list of musicals includes Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera, starring Killian Donnelly, due for a five-week run in June.
Returning shows include Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed production of Les Misérables (in August), Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Blood Brothers, Dirty Dancing, and Beautiful: the Carole King Musical.
Then there's the Irish premiere of On Your Feet, the inspiring true love story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan, and Six, the smash hit musical based on the six wives of England's King Henry VIII.

Some other shows to look out for include Heathers: the Musical, based on the 1988 film starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, and Friends! The Musical Parody, which should be a big hit with fans of the 1990s' sitcom.
The Moscow City Ballet returns in February with a trilogy of Tchaikovsky’s best-loved ballets, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker, and there's the Druid Theatre production of The Cherry Orchard, Bizet's Carmen, and Verdi’s La Traviata.
Special events include Quiz, an interactive thriller direct from a sell-out run in London's West End, In Conversation with The Sopranos, Willam Shatner Live on Stage (which is already sold out), Dionne Warwick, Jamie Cullum, as well as tributes to Leonard Cohen and Whitney Houston.
