Ireland has come 12th in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, with hosts Poland winning for the second year in a row.
Dubliner Anna Kearney, who sang Banshee, took to Twitter after the contest saying:
"Wow! What a journey! I want to thank everyone so much for the amazing support from home and around the world.Over 110,000 online votes!! Not bad for a song as Gaeilge on a European stage! We put up a good fight and hope everyone enjoyed getting to know the Banshee."

Viki Gabor from Poland won with her song Superhero.

The teenager's song, Banshee, was written with Niall Mooney, Fiachna Ó Braonáin of the Hot House Flowers and Anna Banks. It was composed by Cyprian Cassar, Jonas Gladnikoff and Daniel Caruana.
