Johnny Vegas has paid tribute to his mother Patricia who has passed away aged 82.
The comedian and actor took to Twitter on Tuesday to announce the sad news.
He wrote: "With a kind of deep regret that I'm still incapable of processing, I have to confirm that Ma Vegas, Patricia, passed away last Sunday, peacefully in her sleep.
"To say she was a bit of a character would be too huge an underestimation. As a Mum I dare to argue I had the best x."

Father Ted star Pauline McLynn was among those paying condolences.
She replied to his tweet, saying: "Oh, Johnny, i am so sorry to hear this awful news. She was one of the Greats, no doubt about it. all love to you and yours now xxx"
English singer Joe McElderry wrote: "What a brilliant women she was! Lots of a love and thoughts to you and your family xxxx"
X Factor star Shayne Ward added: "Sending you Strength & love Johnny. Sorry for your loss xx"
