Skydiving singer Nadine Coyle proved on the opening episode of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! that she is tougher than she thought.
The 34-year-old, who said she was "scared of most things" before entering the camp, surprised herself on Sunday night's show and became a "Power Pair" with BBC Radio 1 DJ Adele Roberts.
As a "Power Pair" they will enjoy better living conditions in camp and decide their fellow contestants' fates in the coming days.
Earlier, Coyle completed a 10,000ft skydive in order to collect keys for the Pontoon of Doom, with Roberts then having to retrieve insect-covered tokens as quickly as possible.
Reality star Caitlyn Jenner and former rugby player James Haskell retrieved their tokens in a time of eight minutes, 28 seconds, but Coyle and Roberts clocked a time of five minutes, 21 seconds to become a "Power Pair".
Capital Radio DJ Roman Kemp and X Factor winner Myles Stephenson - a member of boy band Rak-Su - became the other "Power Pair" in a challenge involving a plank walk from a helicopter.
Comedian Andrew Maxwell, former footballer Ian Wright, EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa and Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway are also part of the line-up.
The show continues on Virgin Media One and ITV on Monday at 9:00pm.
