Billie Eilish made it a double at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Seville on Sunday night, winning in two categories.

The teenager won the gongs for Best Song (Bad Guy) and Best New Artist.

She did not attend the event but recorded a message for the show.

BTS won the awards for Best Live and Best Fans.

Taylor Swift won Best Video for Me! featuring Brendon Urie and the award for Best US Act. Shawn Mendes was honoured with Best Artist.

Ariana Grande, who had been nominated in seven categories, did not win any awards, with Lil Nas X, who had been nominated in six, also disappointed on the night.

Niall Horan made his MTV Europe Music Awards debut as a solo artist at the ceremony.
