Paddy Smyth, winner of Channel 4 reality TV series The Circle, has spoken about how he wants to use his platform to show that people with disabilities can "still live an amazing lifestyle" and spread positivity.
The Dubliner, who previously captured the nation's heart while appearing on First Dates, won The Circle, a show that allows contestants to either appear as themselves or to put forward a different personality with the intention of becoming popular with the other contestants that they never meet face-to-face and only communicate with via an app.
"You can't resist the Irish, we have charm, you know yourself," Smyth said of his win on The Late Late Show.

Smyth opened up about his initial decision on the show to keep the fact that he has Cerebral Palsy to himself, but he eventually had to tell his fellow contestants about it as he felt he was hiding a part of himself.
His plans now post-win involve using his platform to change how people with disabilities are viewed.

"I want to be at the forefront for people, or parents who think their child with a disability won't have a life, I want to show them that they can and use my platform in a positive light," he said.
"It doesn't matter if you're disabled or your child has a disability, you can still live an amazing lifestyle and hopefully live it great."
