Following her show with The Spice Girls at Croke Park last May, Melanie C makes a return to Ireland later this month for a more intimate gig at The Academy in Dublin.

Sporty Spice has teamed up with "nightclub-turned-movement" Sink The Pink for a tour which will feature Spice Girls hits and her own solo songs - with four extra Spices in drag.

Melanie and Sink The Pink leader Glyn Fussell made their first collaborative appearance at the Mighty Hoopla festival in the UK during the summer and since completing The Spice Girls reunion tour, Mel is currently working on new solo material, with influences ranging from Billie Eilish to Amine.

Speaking about the tour, she said: "This is a bit of a dream come true for me! I'm going on tour with Sink the Pink, the most inclusive, fun and fabulous club night in London and we’re taking their best drag queens round the world, for a truly special show. I can’t wait!"

Glyn said, "It's not every day a bunch of drag queens get to step out and tour the world with a Spice Girl. This tour shows how committed Melanie is to her LGBTQ fans and we are frankly shitting sequins we are so excited. World here we come!"

Melanie C and Sink The Pink play the strictly 18+ only show at The Academy, Dublin on Saturday, September 28.
