Actor Jonah Hill has popped the question to his girlfriend Gianna Santos after a year of dating.
A representative for the comedy star confirmed to PEOPLE that the 35-year-old Oscar-nominated actor asked the 30-year-old marketing professional to be his wife.
The couple were spotted out on a walk in New York City on Monday, and Gianna was reportedly sporting a ring on her engagement finger.
The engagement comes soon after the Hill bought a new home in Santa Monica.
In 2014, Maroon 5 front-man, Adam Levine, asked Hill, a childhood best friend, to officiate his wedding to model Behati Prinsloo .
A wedding guest told E! News, "Jonah was hysterical. He was telling so many jokes, but then in the middle would be so sweet and sincere."
Hill, who has been nominated twice for acting Oscars in The Wolf of Wall Street and Moneyball, made his directorial debut, Mid-90s, last year.
He was last seen in Harmony Korine's The Beach Bum, opposite Matthew McConaughey, Zac Efron and Snoop Dogg.
