Ker-ching and ker-unch: Mariah Carey signs £9m crisps deal

She's already worth a packet but now everyone’s favourite diva Mariah Carey is set to follow in the footsteps of lesser mortals The Spice Girls and sign a very tasty deal with Walkers Crisps.

The Sun newspaper has reported that the maker of the savoury snack is offering a cool £9 million to the singer and we’re just hoping that it involves her belting out All I Want for Crisp-mas is You as crisps fall like snowflakes around her.

Carey is said to be worth an estimated £244million and has already appeared in adverts for New York shop Macy’s with Donald Trump and for weight-loss firm called Jenny.

Former footballer Gary Lineker has long been the crinkly face of Walkers but reunited Spice Girls have also signed up for the Walkers dollar in recent months, with an ad featuring Baby Spice snaffling all the goodies in the backstage rider much to the rest of the Spicies disgust.
