Taylor Swift has said her relationship with actor Joe Alwyn is "not up for discussion" as putting up that boundary has made her life "become manageable."

The singer, who released her seventh studio album Lover last week, which features numerous songs about her romance with the English actor, has no plans to publicly speak about him in interviews.

"I've learned that if I do, people think it’s up for discussion, and our relationship isn’t up for discussion," Swift told The Guardian.

"If you and I were having a glass of wine right now, we’d be talking about it – but it’s just that it goes out into the world. That’s where the boundary is, and that’s where my life has become manageable.

"I really want to keep it feeling manageable."

Swift has also opened up about some of the measures she takes to avoid her stalkers, telling CBS Sunday Morning, "Since my addresses are on the internet, I try not to say where I am, because people show up, dudes that think we have an imaginary marriage.

"I've had stalkers show up to my houses, armed."
