EastEnders fans are set to see dramatic scenes in the coming weeks when Lisa Fowler returns to the Square and clashes with her former lover Phil Mitchell.
The BBC has just released photos from upcoming episodes which shows the immediate impact she makes upon her return.
The new storyline will see Lisa (Lucy Benjamin) arrive on the Square to help her pregnant daughter Louise, who has gone missing alongside her boyfriend Keanu Taylor.
Teasing the dramatic storyline, the soap says: "After two years away, Lisa Fowler returns to Walford and heads straight to best friend, Mel, in need of help.
"However, it doesn't take long for word to spread about Lisa being back and with Keanu and Louise still missing, Phil tracks her down, wanting answers…"
Fans can find out what happens next in the episodes airing in the week commencing Monday, September 2.
EastEnders airs on RTÉ One and BBC One on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
