Peepshow and The Favourite star Olivia Colman has been cast as a femme fatale in the upcoming new season of The Simpsons.
Oscar-winning Colman will voice a character who sets out to seduce Homer.
Tweeting the news, James L. Brooks, the executive producer of the long-running series, which is entering its 31st season, said: "Just this second came from recording one of the best guest appearances in Simpsons history," he wrote of Colman's performance. "No kidding, I am flying."
