Bros singer Matt Goss was reported to Tinder over fears that somebody had created a fake account using his image, but in fact it was him.

The Cat Among the Pigeons star received messages that he should not be using his image to "catfish" potential love matches.

The Mirror newspaper reports that: "Tinder users thought the man they were messaging could not possibly be the real Bros talent."

Goss said: "I got reported because they thought it was fake. They said, 'Matt won't take kindly to you using his photos'. It was quite funny."

The boyband legend revealed he is now "seeing somebody and I'm excited about it" so no longer needs the app to find romance.

Matt Goss and brother and bandmate Luke recently starred in a Bros documentary, After the Screaming Stops, which was one of the biggest hits for television viewers last Christmas.
