50 new and emerging Irish acts have been announced for Ireland's Annual Music Showcase and Conference, which takes places from October 1st to 5th in various venues around Dublin.
Ireland’s largest annual music business event sees bookers, labels, managers, music supervisors, and media from around the world and Ireland gather for workshops, discussions and panels.

The festival made the annual call in May for artists to apply and over 500 acts did so via First Music Contact’s platform Breaking Tunes and were chosen independently by both international and Irish music industry professionals.

"The overwhelming feedback from our eight Irish and over 30 International judges was the level of competition in this year’s applications. Year on year our judges remark on the quality of Irish bands in a global and not just local context," says Angela Dorgan, CEO of First Music Contact.
