Former Beatle Paul McCartney will read from his new book Hey Grandude! at Waterstones in London on Friday, September 6.
The musician will be at the Piccadilly branch of the shop with the book's illustrator Kathryn Durst to celebrate the launch.
The reading will start at 4.00pm and customers will have the chance to purchase one of a limited amount of tickets to attend the event, along with up to two children or grandchildren, to meet Paul and have a copy of Hey Grandude! signed in person.
According to the book's publishers, Grandude is a super-cool Grandad who takes his grandchildren on a whirlwind magical mystery tour, from tropical seas to Alpine mountains, all before bedtime.
Paul and illustrator @KathrynDurst will be visiting @WaterstonesPicc in London on 6th September to sign copies of Paul's new picture book 'Hey Grandude!'. Tickets go on sale on Monday 12th August at 10am. More info HERE: https://t.co/fjLwwoEDfd pic.twitter.com/T19yvzuecK

There are a host of terms and conditions applying to the signing, due to expectations of a huge turn-out. Due to time limitations there will also be no personal photo or video opportunities and ticket holders will be asked to leave cameras and mobile phone devices in a designated bag drop area.
'Please come prepared to queue' is the advice with updates on waiting time promised. Some outside queuing may be required which is hardly a surprise, and fans are requested to `come dressed appropriately for all weathers.'
The signed copies of Hey Grandude! will only be available to customers attending the event.
