Strictly Come Dancing has signed Match of the Day presenter and former England international Alex Scott as part of the celebrity line-up for the new series.

The 34-year-old becomes the 12th celebrity contestant for the new series, which begins on BBC One next month.
"I'm just so happy I can finally start talking about this, I feel like a kid at Christmas," the former Arsenal defender said.
"I stopped playing football over a year ago so getting back into training, that mental discipline, I'm excited about it.
"I'm excited about learning a different discipline."

When asked about competing against another former England player, David James, on the show, Scott replied: "He needs a challenger!"
The Press Association reports that Scott told BBC Radio 1Xtra DJ Ace that the Argentine tango is the dance that excites her the most.
"Everyone that knows me knows I love Beyoncé, so if I manage to walk out one week and dance to Beyoncé my life is made," she added.
