Tyldesley said she was feeling the fear about taking part due to her lack of dancing skills.
She said: "I literally can't dance, I love to dance on a night out if I've had a couple of drinks and me and Alfie (her son) silly dance in the kitchen but that's it, I'm terrified".
The soap star said she might struggled to remember things and added: "I'm terrified. When I was at theatre school I always swerved dance classes because I was really big and so self-conscious... I've always shied away from it. It's going to be like therapy, it's a real challenge for me".

The 35-year-old actress departed the Cobbles in emotional scenes last summer. She joined the soap in 2011 and left briefly in 2015 to go on maternity leave after the welcoming son Alfie.
The other four celebrities confirmed so far for Strictly are former footballer David James, comedian Chris Ramsey, EastEnders star Emma Barton and YouTuber Saffron Barker.
