William Shatner will be beaming his way to Dublin's Bord Gáis Energy Theatre early next year for a special audience-led Q&A event.

Audiences will enjoy a screening of the classic film Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan on the big screen on March 10, 2020 followed by a live conversation with the one and only Captain James T. Kirk.

The 88-year-old legendary actor will be sharing stories from the iconic television series along with discussing his most memorable moments from his career spanning over 50 years as an award-winning actor, producer, director and writer.

Tickets go on sale on August 2 at 9am from all usual Ticketmaster outlets nationwide.

Shatner recently said he would love to reprise the role of Captain Kirk for Quentin Tarantino's possible Star Trek project.

"Quentin Tarantino said something in the paper that somebody said to me, that he loved me," Shatner told Reuters. "And Quentin, I love you."

Shatner continued, "If you're going to do Star Trek, fifty years later, a few pounds heavier, come on, not a problem."

The actor was then evidently asked if he'd be up to join the proposed film, to which he replied, "Well, I'd like to do it. Whether I'd be up for it, I don't know."
