Fans have been left a combination of heartbroken and furious after tickets to Lizzo's Dublin gig later this year sold out in seconds on Friday morning, only to appear on Ticketmaster's resale website at inflated prices minutes later.
The Juice hitmaker is bringing her Cuz I Love You Too Tour to the Olympia Theatre on November 10 but many fans were unable to secure tickets to the highly-anticipated show.
Tickets for the gig were originally priced between €39.50 and €45 but some were made available on the site through the resale function for €140.
This infuriates me. #Lizzo pic.twitter.com/LonaF2pPDf

Some people believed the tickets were "sold out before actually going on sale".
One fan wryly commented: "I really like her music, but the fact she can bend the space-time continuum is what's truly impressive."
Lizzo seems to have sold out before actually going on sale. I really like her music, but the fact she can bend the space-time continuum is what's truly impressive.

Did Lizzo sell out before she even went on sale or has Ticketmaster crashed?

Many voiced their upset at missing out on a chance to see the American singer and rapper.
I didn't get @lizzo tickets for Dublin so if anybody needs me I’ll be in a cave until November crying and listening to Lingerie on repeat

How the hell can Dublin @lizzo tickets be gone before they even go on sale. Such an absolute shambles @TicketmasterIre and the presale didn't even work for me even though I had a spotify code. So disappointed. Prob all the ticket touts that got them.

Comedian Alison Spittle commented on the "whiff of Lizzo sadness" she felt as she landed at Dublin Airport.
Just landed in Dublin. The whiff of Lizzo sadness hits me when I step on the runway.

It's intense and I know my country is in pain right now.
Sending prayers.
