Following the sad news on Thursday morning that entertainer Brendan Grace had died aged 68, Morning Ireland Extra has taken a longer look at the veteran comedian's life and career.

Grace speaks about his upbringing, his start on the comedy circuit, and some of his most-loved characters, including Fr Fintan Stack in Father Ted.
