Enid Blyton's much-loved Malory Towers books are coming to television screens in a new 13-part series for CBBC.
The books follow the adventures of boarding school student Darrell Rivers on the Cornish coast in the 1940s, with the new live-action series set to have a "contemporary twist" and plotlines involving cliques, bullying and peer pressure.
Blyton's original Malory Towers books were first published between 1946 and 1951 and the series continues with new stories to this day.
