Love Island fans were surprised last night when boxer Tommy Fury recoupled with Molly-Mae despite claiming his head had done a "560 degree" turn for Longford's Maura Higgins.
This leaves Maura single alongside Anna, so both girls will go on a date with new boys, Tom Walker, 29, and Jordan Hames, 24, during tonight's episode.
Speaking about his "gut" decision on the show last night Tommy said: "Ever since she walked into the villa, she lit up these big blue eyes. I'm more intrigued to find out more about her.
"There was an instant connection. I have to go with my gut."
Anton also ruffled a few feathers when he chose to couple up with new girl Elma rather than with his friend Anna.
Speaking about Elma he said: "Ever since our first conversation, I feel like we just clicked.
"She's easy to talk to, funny, and to be honest, she's a little bit crazy like myself. She's got a gorgeous face and she has an amazing personality and she brings a lot to the villa. She's made me feel so special."
Despite having a couple of ups and downs over the last few days, Joe still opted to couple up with Lucie.
Joe said: "I don't think we've [me and Lucie] have had the easiest ride at all. I know after the few days I've had my doubts, but she makes me smile.
"I feel like the happiest and luckiest dude in this world. Hopefully, it'll all work out."
Meanwhile, it came as no surprise that smitten Curtis stuck with his air hostess "half-girlfriend" Amy.
He said: "She is absolutely amazing. She's beautiful one of a kind every room, she lightens the atmosphere and I love spending all of my time in the villa with her."
Danny, who was a single boy until Sunday's episode, chose Dublin girl Yewande as his first official partner for the summer show.
The pair struck up an instant connection from the moment they enjoyed their first date outside the villa just days ago.
He said: "I want to couple up with this girl from the second met of her. We had an instant connection; she's a genuine person, she excites me, she has a great character, inside and out. She ticks boxes I didn't even know I needed ticking."
And finally, Michael’s heart still lies with Amber as their romance continues to blossom.
He said: "She has this fire about her that excites me. She has an undeniable presence around the villa, you just know where she is. No one has made me laugh as much. I'm just excited to get to know her a little bit more."
But the couples' happiness could be cut short as it was revealed they must vote for the most incompatible pair. The two couples with most votes will be in danger of being dumped for the villa later this week.
