Katie Price has signed up for couples therapy on the TV series Celebs Go Dating, saying she hopes it will help her relationship with boyfriend Kris Boyson.

The reality TV star will take part in a new feature of Celebs Go Dating, in which experts Paul C Brunson and Anna Williamson help couples with their relationship issues.

Price has revealed that false stories in the press have impacted on her relationship with Boyson.

She said: "We've come to Paul and Anna to help us out because there are just too many people involved in our relationship. Too many chefs around and too many stories going on about us.

"There are untrue stories so that causes problems and ends up getting us asking each other 'Oh, well, did you say that?'

"I hope the agents will sort us out so we can end up happy ever after."

In a promo video for the show, Boyson said that they "disagree on a lot of things" and that they have "had a bit of a rough time" over the year they have been together.

They are hoping to get their relationship back on track before moving in together.

"We can't move in like this, we'll end up tearing each other apart", he added.

Dating expert Williamson said: "We're really pleased and excited to be opening up the agency to couples this time.

"Couples therapy is something that can be hugely beneficial to all relationships. It's very much a sign of strength, not weakness, to welcome external help.

"Our viewers are going to learn even more this series about dating and relationship dos, don'ts, and dynamics."

Six singles are joining the Celebrity Dating Agency this year, they are: Love Island's Jack Fincham and Megan Barton Hanson, Geordie Shore's Nathan Henry, reality TV star Lauren Goodger, Blue pop star Lee Ryan and socialite Lady Colin Campbell.
