A new Western filmed in Connemara is to receive its international premiere at the Galway Film Fleadh next month.
Never Grow Old stars Emile Hirsch, John Cusack, Antonia Campbell-Hughes and Déborah François, and is directed by Dublin filmmaker Ivan Kavanagh (The Canal).
Set on the California trail during the 1849 Gold Rush, the film tells the story of an Irish undertaker, Patrick Tate (Hirsch), who is in high demand when outlaws take over his town.
But when Tate's family is threatened he must take a stand.
Never Grow Old will be the closing film at this year's Fleadh on Sunday, July 14.
The Galway Film Fleadh runs from Tuesday, July 9 to Sunday, July 14, with the full programme set to be announced on June 25. For more, see galwayfilmfleadh.com.
