Scarlett Moffatt has admitted that she reckons she's blown her chance of appearing on Strictly Come Dancing - and that she's excited about Dancing with the Stars dancer Curtis Pritchard.
In an interview with TV Times, the 29-year-old former Gogglebox star opened up on how her history with ballroom might mean she’ll never make it on the show.
"I would honestly love to do it, it’s my dream but I feel like it’s never going to happen because I’ve openly talked about the fact that I danced a lot growing up," she said.
When asked who she would like to be paired with, she admitted that Anton Du Beke would be her dream option. "I’d love to be partnered with Anton," she confessed.
"He’s such a lovely man and he’s like the master of that show because he’s been on it right from the start. Who knows, I’ll keep trying my hardest!"
And when she spoke about her fondness for Love Island - which returns tomorrow night on Virgin Media One - she also mentioned Curtis Pritchard, a dance partner on RTÉ One's Dancing with the Stars.
"I’m excited about seeing AJ Pritchard from Strictly’s brother, Curtis, on it this year," she said. "I’m obsessed with it. I apologise in advance to all my friends because the minute that’s back on I’m going to be glued to my TV."
