Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien has warned "there is no coming back" from the ITV soap's special week of episodes focusing on her character Sarah Platt and family, which begins on Monday night.
O'Brien told ITV that Sarah's hopes for "a nice, normal holiday" with her family prove shortlived as half-brother David confesses to grandmother Audrey that he and Sarah's brother Nick have been stealing money from the Weatherfield matriarch.
"Sarah is devastated and feels like there is no coming back from it," O'Brien said.
When asked if she thinks the bombshell will tear the family apart, O'Brien replied: "Yes, I do. Audrey is heartbroken. What they have done to her is unforgivable and so painful. Sarah feels very betrayed by them as well."
Fans can follow the drama from Monday, May 27 to Friday, May 31 at the later time of 9:00pm on Virgin Media One and ITV.
