There are fears for Ellie in Wednesday's Fair City as Heather presses ahead with her plan to take her daughter to Brazil.
When Heather tells Ellie she doesn't have to go to school, the youngster replies: "Mum, listen to me. This isn't a good idea."
"Well, the tickets are bought and this time tomorrow we'll be home," Heather enthuses.
Renee then enters the room and asks: "What's the whispering about?"
Heather says it's "nothing" - and winks at Ellie as she leaves the room.
"Did you take mum's passport away?" Ellie asks Renee.
"Yes," says Renee. "But I gave it back. I was worried she was going to bring you to Brazil."
"She is," warns Ellie. "She booked the flights for tonight. Gran, please don't let her take me back, I don't want to go."
"Oh no, you're not going anywhere," says Renee. "We'll sort this. I promise."
