Comedian and actor Kevin Hart is back as superhero bunny Snowball in The Secret Life of Pets 2 and he has come out fighting on one of the greatest debates of all time - which are better, cats or dogs?

Speaking to RTÉ Entertainment in London, Hart said: "I’m a dog person. I don’t do cats. I don’t trust cats. I don’t like cats. Something about cats, I just don’t like cats."
"Cats can give you a look that puts you in a weird space," said Eric Stonestreet of Modern Family fame, who plays lovable Newfoundland mix Duke in the new movie.
"I don’t mind cats, I grew up with them but as far as a pet to commit to, I’m more of a dog person. I have a dog, his name is Roscoe."
"I’ve got two dogs," said Kevin. "I have one that’s a Doberman Pincher and one that’s a min pin, which is a mini version."
"Roscoe is a mutt but he’s mostly cattle dog and Staffordshire. Very smart, very trainable." said Eric.
The Secret Life of Pets 2, which is out this Friday, sees Snowball come to the rescue of a tiger cub who is being mistreated in a travelling circus, while Max (now voiced by Patton Oswalt following the departure of Louis C.K.) and Duke deal with the arrival of their owners' first baby and befriend Rooster, a gruff but caring farm dog, who in a movie-stealing turn, is voiced by Harrison Ford.
In fact, Rooster just might be modeled on Jack Palance’s character in City Slickers, the equally scene-stealing Curley.
"Well, he’s Harrison Ford . . . " said Eric.
"He should steal the show. You wanna make sure you pay homage to Harrison Ford by giving him something to really sink his teeth into," said Kevin.
"I think Rooster is an amazing character and that’s what you want, if you’ve got a talent like that you wanna use it properly so . . . "
"It’s Harrison’s first movie and there he is, man. He’s the coolest cat ever."
The Secret Life of Pets 2 is out on May 24th
