Rock band Guns N' Roses is suing a brewery for trade mark infringement arguing that their Guns N' Rosé beer will look to consumers like an official product causing them ‘irreparable damage’.

In the past Canarchy Craft Brewery Collective’s Oskar Blues Brewery had tried to trademark Guns 'n' Rosé but failed as the rock stars had objected to them filing the trade mark.

The brewery had to abandoned its application to trade mark its name after the opposition from the band but it is understood that it intends to continue selling the beer until March 2020.

Guns N' Roses in legal submissions said that the brewery "should not be entitled to continue to sell infringing products and intentionally trade on Guns N' Roses’s goodwill, prestige, and fame without Guns N' Roses’s approval, license, or consent."

Guns N’ Roses are suing for trademark infringement and are seeking unspecified damages.
