Kensington Palace have released new portraits of Princess Charlotte to mark her fourth birthday.
The three pictures of the young royal were released on the official Instagram page of her parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton.

"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share three new photographs of Princess Charlotte ahead of her fourth birthday," the captions read.
The photographs were taken by the Duchess of Cambridge at their homes in Kensington Palace and Norfolk.
In a later post they thanked people for their birthday wishes saying, "Thank you for the lovely messages for Princess Charlotte’s fourth birthday!"

Princess Charlotte's birthday portraits come shortly after they marked her younger brother Prince Louis' first birthday with a series of photographs of him taken around the same time.
