Coronation Street star Dolly-Rose Campbell has said there is plenty of relationship drama ahead as her character Gemma sets out to prove to love interest Chesney and the rest of Weatherfield that she will be a good mother.
Warning: spoiler alert!
Gemma's pregnancy will be one of the ITV soap's big storylines for the coming months, with the couple splitting without Chesney knowing that he is set to be a father.
Campbell, who has played Gemma since 2014, is relishing the chance to show the different sides to her screen character.
"It's a mix of emotions; excitement, fear and panic because Chesney has already made her feel she's not very responsible when it comes to parenting so that's knocked her confidence with her own pregnancy and her ability to raise a baby," she told ITV.

When asked why Gemma takes the decision not to tell Chesney she is expecting, Campbell replied: "She doesn't want him to be with her because he feels he has to be for the sake of the baby; she wants him to want to be with her for her."
Campbell said that Gemma is "looking to the future on her own".
"She's got this real bee in her bonnet about Chesney not thinking she's responsible enough," she continued.
"She's had a real blow to her confidence and she is worried. But just because Gemma doesn't always do things the way other people do that doesn't mean she's doing it wrong. It's not easy being a mum for anyone."
Campbell added that she is "not sure" if she wants to see Gemma and Chesney get back together.
"Them living together has led to quite an unhappy environment which wouldn't be the best thing for a baby," she explained, "so maybe it would be more interesting to see them working together as friends. They're so different in their ways it will be interesting to see how they'll tackle this."
Coronation Street airs on Virgin Media One and ITV on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
