BBC Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin has vowed that her phone has a "life-time ban" from the studio after it went off live on air on Tuesday morning.
A shocked Minchin scrambled to turn off the phone after it started playing music from her new triathlon podcast as she and co-host Dan Walker wrapped up an interview with Britain's Justice Secretary David Gauke.
"Goodness me, sorry. God, that is so embarrassing," said Minchin. "How have I done that?"

Standing up, she said: "I'm literally going to have to walk off set."
"She's walking off, she's embarrassed," said co-host Walker as the cameras cut to a live shot of Glasgow.
"That's Louise's new podcast, The TriPod," Walker explained.
When Minchin returned to the set she said she was "properly embarrassed".
She and Walker giggled when he asked: "It's still going, have we managed to turn it off?"
Covering her mouth with her hand, Minchin replied: "How have I done that? I genuinely don't know what I did. I apologise profusely."
When the programme returned to studio after a report from Glasgow, Walker said: "Back in the studio, Louise is still a little bit embarrassed by the fact she sat on her phone and played her own programme."
Writing later on Twitter, Minchin said: "Oh my gosh! My phone is out of control. #apologies I think a banning order might be in order."

When a follower asked if it was a "shameless plug" for her podcast, the triathlete replied: "I couldn't have timed it better if I had actually tried to."
"My phone now has a life-time ban!" she added.
