This looks interesting – and especially topical given the strong possibility of a hard border in a post-Brexit environment.

This documentary goes through 100 years of archival footage, along with the stories of people whose lives have been affected by the border between the UK-remaining six counties and the rest of Ireland.

Tattoo Fixers; Extreme, 9.00pm, E4

Back for a sixth season, the fixers continue to tackle the rudest, crudest and most shocking sins of the skin.

This week, Sketch banishes David's boob blunder, Uzzi takes on Mike's extreme inking, Pash tackles Melina's below-the-belt tatt, while Alice helps unlucky-in-love Jade be less of a mug.

Meanwhile, Uzzi gets Ricky out of a sticky situation, while Sketch is helping Marcio and Andreia remember their baby son Logan, who they lost following the Grenfell Tower tragedy.

As the sun rises over the Great Barrier Reef, Liz Bonnin joins scientists live to find out how temperature rises are impacting the reef, and how plastic is putting the future of the planet’s turtles at risk. In a dramatic manoeuvre to capture coral spawning, we follow an ambitious attempt to restore the reef through IVF.

Fifteen thousand miles away, during a live dive, Steve Backshall explores an eerie Caribbean wreck in the Bahamas in search of a super-sized fish that is upsetting the natural order in the sharks' home waters.
