Cambridgeshire Police in the UK have shared the audio of a small hours 999 call in which a man wanted to discuss David Beckham's career.
When the call handler asks the man how he can help, the caller replies in a slurred voice: "Did you know David Beckham, all his fame and fortune has [sic] brought him nothing?"
"Ok, sorry, what's your reason for the call to police please?" asks the patient handler.
"Well, that's all I'm trying to tell you," explains the caller. "I can walk down to the shop and get corned beef and things, he can't do that.
"So, all his fame and fortune has bought him nothing."

When asked again why he has called, the man replies: "Well, I'm just informing you of that."
When it is politely suggested that the man should go to bed because it is "nearly three o'clock in the morning", he still has something to get off his chest.
"Well, all I'm saying to him - David Beckham - is are you any cleverer than me? Because I don't think you are."
"He might not be," says the call handler. "I don't know. I don't know him. Maybe message him on Twitter."
"I'm going to have to clear the line because we are busy," he adds and wishes the caller a good night.
Sharing the audio on Twitter as part of their #WednesdayWisdom, Cambridgeshire Police wrote: "This was one of our more unusual calls. Being worried David Beckham can't buy his own corned beef isn't a reason to call us. Calls like these cause delay and put lives at risk. Please only contact us when you really need to."
