Derry Girls returned on Tuesday night for a second season and fans have been raving about the laugh out loud moments and quotable lines it has already provided.
For the opening episode, entitled Across The Baricade, Erin, Orla, Michelle, Claire and James set off on a school trip to take part in a peace initiative with a Protestant boy's school.
Michelle and Erin have their own ideas for how to bring peace between the groups, James just wants some lad friends, Orla is prepared for a Bear Grylls-style survival camp and Claire is out to find a "full Protestant" to befriend.

"They don’t come in halves."
Hilarious #DerryGirls tonight. So brilliant.
"There just aren't enough Protestants to go round."

Every single line of #DerryGirls cracks me up. #Fleabag last night, this tonight. We live in a golden age of comedy.
When they arrived at the camp, the group of teenagers were asked to list out the similarities and differences between Catholics and Protestants, which was just hilarious stuff.
I was laughing so hard at the already famous Derry Girls blackboard I genuinely spat whiskey on the cat. "Protestants keep toasters in cupboards." #DerryGirls pic.twitter.com/bDugEoRvgz

"Catholics have more freckles. Protestants hate ABBA."

Every line a cracker. #DerryGirls
Such a smart ending with Erin writing on the similarities board "Parents". Showing that everything that’s been passed on to the younger generation was what they’ve learnt from their parents, clever writing. #DerryGirls

Loving #DerryGirls and the soundtrack. Delighted the second series is living up to the first one. Orla and Sr Michael just steal the show.
