Coleen Nolan has spoken about receiving death threats following an on-air row she had with Kim Woodburn on Loose Women.

The TV presenter and her former Celebrity Big Brother co-star appeared on the panel show in August 2018, but the reunion ended with Woodburn accusing Nolan of being a "bully" and storming off the set.

The row led to Nolan taking a hiatus from Loose Women and postponing a solo tour.

Nolan has now opened up about the backlash following the argument in an interview with OK! Magazine.

She said of receiving death threats: "They affected me massively. The main thing was the shock.

"I didn’t understand where so much hate was coming from.

"The fact people were threatening to kill me and saying: 'I hope you die of cancer', just floored me."

The 53-year-old singer, who appeared in OK! Magazine with her daughter Ciara, said that her children helped her get through the ordeal.

"My kids got me through it," she said. "Me and Ciara talk about everything."

Nolan returned to Loose Women in December after a three-month break.

The singer and television personality announced that she was divorcing her husband of 10 years, Ray Fensome, last February.

Nolan and Fensome share 18-year-old daughter Ciara, while Coleen has two sons, Jake and Shane, with her previous husband, actor Shane Richie.
