Ariana Grande is reportedly being sued by a Las Vegas artist who alleges copyright infringement over an image of a woman in a candle flame in the singer's God is a Woman music video.
According to The Associated Press (AP), a lawsuit was filed last Thursday (January 31) in the US District Court in Nevada on behalf of Vladimir Kush and his company Kush Fine Arts Las Vegas.
The lawsuit claims that an image that appears a little more than a minute into the God is a Woman music video is nearly identical to paintings that he made and copyrighted in 1999 and 2000.
Kush seeks unspecified monetary damages and a court order to remove the video from the internet.
The video has nearly 200 million views on YouTube to date.
Representatives for the pop star have not commented on the lawsuit.
