Love Island winner Jack Fincham has apologised and said he made a "terrible error" after taking cocaine on a night out last weekend.

The 26-year-old told British tabloid The Sun that he has regularly been offered cocaine since winning ITV reality show Love Island with girlfriend Dani Dyer last summer.

Fincham admitted he had taken the drug while he was out last Saturday.

"I'd never normally be in these situations but, yes, since winning the show I have been offered cocaine a lot," he told the paper.

"But I went out all night, I was drinking and I just got carried away and made a stupid, stupid mistake which I wish I'd never done, you know. I regret it."

Fincham described taking the drug as a "terrible error" and said he was dreading telling his girlfriend's father, actor Danny Dyer.
