Emmerdale producer Kate Brooks has teased upcoming episodes of the soap which are being filmed in Belfast, saying they are "fun and uplifting".
The British soap, which is usually set in the Yorkshire Dales, is filming this week in the Northern Irish city in a storyline involving some of its most popular characters.
Cast members Dominic Brunt and Mark Charnock, who play Paddy Kirk and Marlon Dingle, are among the actors shooting at Belfast City Hall and in the Cathedral Quarter.
Speaking to UTV, Kate Brooks said: "We wanted a really exciting couple of episodes, and bringing the cast and the crew out to somewhere like Belfast is probably the right thing to do – and we just wanted something different, really.
"And Belfast is so beautiful, I thought it was the right place to move to."

She continued by teasing what fans can look forward to in the episodes.
"We've got Paddy, Marlon, and Jessie. Marlon and Jessie are coming on a little mini-moon," she said.
"You'll see a lot of Belfast and the city and the surrounding area. But that's all I can really tell you without giving so much away. It will be a really kind of fun, uplifting couple of episodes."
The Belfast-set episodes are due to air on March 7 and 8.
