Gwyneth Paltrow is being sued by a Utah man who claims she crashed into him on a ski resort in 2016.
72-year-old Terry Sanderson is suing the Oscar-winning actress and Goop founder for $3.1 million in damages, Reuters reports.
He claims Paltrow slammed into him on a ski slope at Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah, on February 26, 2016, breaking four of his ribs and knocking him unconscious, before skiing off.
Paltrow has denied the allegations.
Her spokesperson Heather Wilson said the "lawsuit is without merit and we expect to be vindicated."
In court papers, Sanderson said he suffered "permanent traumatic brain injury" as a result of the accident.
Robert Sykes, a lawyer representing Sanderson, said Paltrow violated a local ordinance requiring skiers to stop and help anyone injured in a collision.
In a news conference, he said: "Gwyneth Paltrow was skiing out of control.
"What Ms. Paltrow did that day was knock down Terry Sanderson, pick herself up, dust herself off and ski off without rendering any help."
