Sarah Jessica Parker has told fans she is making a ''brief reappearance'' as her Sex and the City alter ego Carrie Bradshaw for a mystery project.
The 53-year-old posted a short video online teasing the return of her iconic character, who she last played in a second SATC movie in 2010.
In the short video, Parker sported a ballerina-style tulle skirt and stilettos as she walked the streets of New York while the HBO show's famous theme tune played in the background.
She captioned the Instagram post: ''My old friend. She is making a brief reappearance. Partnering with a great brand and supporting a cause we all care about. More to come. X, SJ #PourItForward (sic)''

Last year Parker has officially confirmed that there will be no more Sex and the City movies.
Speaking to People magazine, she said: "It’s not just disappointing that we don’t get to tell the story and have that experience, but more so for that audience that has been so vocal in wanting another movie."
