72-year old Cher began the US leg of her Here We Go Again tour in Estero, Florida on Saturday night.
Flamboyant as ever, the singer wore a long bright orange curly wig and matching headpiece, as she performed the hits and songs from her 26th studio album, Dancing Queen, which is her versions of Abba songs.
She also donned a sheer bra and silver-fringed dress, with a sleek red wig, as reported by Mail Online. The A dazzling, multi-coloured sari and headdress also numbered among the wild costume choices, as the singer paraded atop a life-size model of an elephant.
The iconic singer - who won the Best Actress Oscar in 1988 for the film Moonstruck - was seen briefly in the movie Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again last year.
Clips from the back pages of her stellar career were shown on a giant screen at Saturday night's concert, including footage of a 1960s performance with ex-husband Sonny Bono.
Cher is on her first world tour for 14 years. The singer's Living Proof: Farewell world tour enjoyed a particularly long stretch, running from 2002 to 2005 - not quite the Farewell envisaged, clearly.
Her current tour began in New Zealand last September and she will be playing dates in the USA and Canada until May. In September, the singer and actress will play a string of European dates, including Dublin on November 1 when she will bring her brand of flamboyance to the 3Arena stage.
