Actor Russell Brand a former notorious womaniser in the past has said that he has no regrets about his behaviour in the wake of the MeToo movement
The Get Him To The Greek actor had in the past claimed to have had relations with hundreds of women and said that: "I just feel that #MeToo is a really positive change, it's a sign of real awakening."
The actor is since married to Laura Gallacher with two children under three.
He said he learnt a valuable lesson from his divorce from Katy Perry, who he was married to from 2010 to 2012, which was "no one was put on this Earth to make me feel better. That's no one's job."
Speaking to the Sunday Times he revealed he had not spent 24 hours on his own with the children. "No. She wouldn't go away for 24 hours, Laura. She respects and cares for their safety too much. Um, I've done like, a night. But they're asleep then." he said.
He added: "It turns out that she (Laura) is extremely well versed in the nuances and complexities of child-rearing.
"Me, I am dedicated to it, devoted to it, but I am still surprised when it's like, 'Oh my God, this is f****** really hard and it's so exhausting.The younger one, I just feel inept so quickly, like with the crying."
Clarifying things the Forgetting Sarah Marshall actor said: "I would hate for you to leave with the impression that I'm sort of sat watching television, peering over the armchair at what's going on. I'm not.
"Yesterday, like, I drove Mabel to the playschool and I drop her at the playschool." he added.
