The line-up for Friday night's Late Late Show has been revealed, with actor Liam Cunningham and MEP Mairead McGuinness among the guests joining host Ryan Tubridy in studio.

Cunningham is set to chat about the upcoming final season of Game of Thrones and his recent trip to South Sudan where he visited those fleeing the civil war.

Liam Cunningham will be in studio to talk about Game of Thrones

In one of the most turbulent weeks of Theresa May’s tenure, Tubridy will be joined in studio by Mairead McGuinness, Vice President of the European Parliament and MEP, to get the view from Brussels as the United Kingdom goes back to the drawing board to negotiate a Brexit deal.

Ahead of the search for Ireland’s Favourite Folk Song, Ryan will be joined by Mary Black, Phelim Drew, Aoife Scott and Fiachna Ó Braonáin, to discuss their most-loved tunes.

Paddy Casey will be celebrating TradFest

Also on the music front, Ireland’s largest festival of traditional music, TradFest, returns next week, and to celebrate 11 vocalists including Paddy Casey, Eleanor McEvoy and Sibéal Ní Chasaide, will perform.

There will also be comedy from Bridget and Eamon (Jennifer Zamparelli and Bernard O'Shea).

Watch The Late Late Show on RTÉ One, Friday, January 18 at 9.35pm.
