Cheryl has said that her relationship with Liam Payne is "healthy" and admits there is "no animosity whatsoever" between the pair following their split last year.
The 35-year-old singer and the 25-year-old former One Direction star called it quits last summer after two and a half years together. The couple have a toddler son together called Bear.
Speaking to the MailOnline, Cheryl said she is getting on swimmingly with her ex partner and revealed they are "just like any other couple" that have gone through a break up.
"There’s no animosity whatsoever. We are learning all the time. And it’s good, it’s healthy."
"We’re just like any other couple that have gone through this, but we have a few more eyes watching us. Just a few," she joked.
Cheryl, who is currently a team captain on The Greatest Dancer, admitted she found their split difficult but she's working her way through it.
"I hate the lows. I hate the lows. It’s kind of one of the things that makes us not want to get into a relationship. Nothing quite makes you feel like that, does it? Nothing else."
"And I know you have to take the highs with the lows, so I’m working on being OK with that, but at the moment, I just don’t need it. I don’t want it," she added.

The former X Factor judge said she has no plans to go back on the dating scene in the near future but she vowed never to give up on finding love.
"I wouldn’t say I’ve given up on love. I love, love. But I have paused my relationship goals," she said. "All is well. I’m just going with the flow, but I have no plans to meet anybody anytime soon."
