Hotly-tipped Dublin-based five-piece The Murder Capital have released their debut single Feeling Fades.

Produced by Flood, who has previously worked with PJ Harvey, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, New Order, and U2, Feeling Fades is the first recorded offering from the band, who have won acclaim in Ireland and the UK and who are at the vanguard of a neo-punk uprising in Ireland alongside Fontaines DC.

2018 was a breakthrough year for the band, with their own explosive live shows and gigs with Slaves, Shame and Fontaines DC. They have also been included in The Guardian’s Ones to Watch 2019 and included in NME’s 100 Essential New Artists for 2019.

The enigmatic act have thrived on word of mouth and the caustic strength of one live recording of More Is Less, which went viral on YouTube.

The Murder Capital will tour the UK in January and February with Irish dates to follow. They also play Eurosonic 2019, which takes place in Groningen, Netherlands between January 16 and 19.

They also support band of the moment Idles at their sold-out show at London’s Electric Ballroom on April 6th.
