Skepta, Elbow to play Forbidden Fruit 2019

Some of the acts that will play the Forbidden Fruit festival in 2019 have been announced and they include grime artist Skepta and British band Elbow, who will headline the closing night of the festival.

Skepta will play on Saturday June 1, Detroit rapper Danny Brown will take to the stage on Sunday, June 2 and Elbow and Swedish sibling duo First Aid Kit will perform on Monday, June 3.

Also annouced to be joining the line-up are DJ Jon Hopkins, techno star Paul Kalkbrenner, live electronic group Maribou State, rising star Mall Grab, Daniel Avery, French duo Polo & Pan, Montreal's Homeshake, Ross From Friends and Saint Sister.

Tickets for the festival, which takes place at The Royal Hospital, Kilmainham over the June bank holiday weekend, will go on sale at 9am on Thursday, December 13 via Ticketmaster.

More acts will be announced in the New Year.
