Tickets for next year's Electric Picnic went on sale on Monday morning at 9am and sold out in just 15 minutes.

For the first time in the festival's 15 year history, the tickets sold out months in advance of the line-up being revealed.

The line-up for the festival, which takes place from August 30 until September 1 in Stradbally Hall, Co Laois, will be announced in the New Year.

Electric Picnic 2019 will see an increase in capacity of 2,500, bringing to the capacity to 57,500 people.

There will be some brand new areas within the 600-acre grounds of Stradbally Estate that fans will get a chance to explore for the first time next year.
