Coming up in Wednesday night's Fair City, Orla worries when IVF is only an option with an unknown donor or a partner, but decides there's only one way to proceed.
"I need to have another baby, Orla tearfully tells Tommy, but Wayne walks in on their conversation.
Wayne is irate, saying: "You're asking him without talking to me? After everything we said last night?"
Tommy is confused, asking Orla: "Hang on, what do you mean you need another baby?"
"She means with you," Wayne explains. "IVF. So it'd be a genetic match for Junior so we can save him."
Orla drops the bombshell: "It's not that simple. I'd need Tommy to pretend to be my partner."
